I think we're all officially back to reality today. What is going on this week?

WR: Ugh reality of wedding stuff really hit me in the face last night.  I thought I was doing pretty well until my FMIL sat me down and we made a list of everything I have to get done in the next two months and it was a little intimidating.  I'm a little stressed out today. 

NWR: Ugh and on top of planning my wedding, I also have to plan my company's 30th anniversary party which will be in May.  Planning that is as much work as planning a freaking wedding.
I am also working about 60 hours this week and have to fit in at least 4 days at the gym and my weekend is already fully booked with events and parties we have to go to.  I have only just begun the week and I am already exhausted just thinking about it!

Well this week I am not so busy but this past weekend I went with my MOH to pick out her dress and then on this Wednesday we will be picking out the other girls dresses and I already have the dress I want the flower girl to wear( we are paying for her dress) .  I have 3 bridesmaids and they will have a choice between 4 different dresses but I don't want them to have the same dress so we will see who likes what best and go from there. The dresses are all very similar with slightly different details.

Well not much happening this week except maybe recieving some of the orders I've placed. I should be getting some stuff for the wedding I ordered off etsy as well as some invitation and paper samples.

I ordered our canvas guest "book" yesterday. I used a groupon I had purchased for a 20"x30" x1.5" canvas print for $55. It saved us $100 off the regular price which was nice.

ALSO.... We had dinner with some friends last night. All 4 other couples are expecting. FI and I were thrown completely off guard and need to now rethink out no children/babies policy for the wedding, which i'm not all that happy about.

Well, I had quite an eventful weekend... picked out the BM and FG dresses AND I filled out tons of spreadsheets to organize the addresses for the guest list for the wedding and bridal shower!  I am now just waiting on ALL of FI's friends addresses so I am going to pester him all week until he gets those.  We are supposed to get our STD magnets in the mail tomorrow so I will be addressing envelopes all week! We also have a bridal fair to go to on Saturday too so hopefully I will get good deals on tents, djs, and possibly find a cake!  Busy, busy!!!

WR: Emailing potential florist to get a quote.  She's a friend of my grandmother's so we'll see how that goes.  Finishing Save the Dates.  Doing research for our registry (that's next Sunday's task).  So much to do!

NWR: Seeing FI tonight (rare date night in the middle of the week!), going to my dance class (first of the new year), and going to my cousins' hockey game.  One cousin on each team makes it interesting!

WR: FInishing the details for our menu and reception setup as our wedding planner is leaving the venue for another job. I am trying to get everything set before her last day this weekend, ugh! Also ordered invite samples. I really want to have something at least in mind by the end of the month.

NWR: I have a third interview tomorrow morning with a company that I am trying to get into. I also need to start going back to the gym, but I feel like that really won't happen because I have no motivation anymore with this cold weather!!!

WR:
I went to a wedding show with my  mom this weekend.  I am trying to get a cake consultation set up for next week and still working out the bumps i have with DJ video stuff.    They are my dreak group to get but what I want / need doesn't fit any of their packages.  Of course I didn't send off the long email until right before the wedding show  - so they are a little backlogged.   They did answer me at least and let me know they got it , but it will take awhile to work up the quote - should have it in a few days.  I had a slight meltdown last night / yesterday ... Just have gotten slightly oerwhelmed with all the things I still need to do .FI tried to reassure me but he is not actually the one talking to anyone - so he doesn't know how urgent it is becoming to get things nailed down... . and although I am grateful that my parents are paying for everything I need to start making deposits yesterday and they are being a little slow with it.   Which is the only reason I don't have half the stuff I want to have done done already.   And now things are really starting to get booked.

This week I'm just trying to make a little headway on honeymoon planning and selecting a design for the altar FI will build for our ceremony! Have a lot of personal tragedy I'm dealing with this week, so am trying to keep it light.

OMG just realised that we hit the 8 month mark today!
I keep having terrible wedding nightmares about absent dresses, djs and photographers. Seems it is time for me to order that dress, confirm with the photographer and find a dj!! Haha.

Otherwise I have nothing wedding planned this week.
New job means lots of things to learn and I am pretty much exhausted all the time.

FI and I decided we were ready to move into a house so this means I have to cut the guest list even more. We've already trimmed from 196 to 145 now I need to trim to around 120 in order for us to move and still have the wedding we want. Here's the problem. FI already trimmed his part to 40 people so the rest is up to me yikes!!!!!! Wish me luck ladies

We have a couple (whom I have only met once!) that are moving to our area, and are staying with FI and I until they can find a place to live.  It's a childhood friend of my FI's and his wife. I always struggle with company after a few days, but it's not like they are here to visit, they will coming and going and doing their own thing, as we will too.  It's not that I mind company, but after a few days, I go crazy.  I just want to get up, be in my pj's, eat breakfast in my kitchen, and not have to make small talk with anyone!

WR:  FINALLY started working out again!  Hurts so good .  I got the STD's enveloped and ready to roll, only need a few addresses and for FI to give me something to say about the groomsman I don't know well for the website.  Booked the hotel block and sending a deposit for the transportation tomorrow.  I also started working on the invitations last night.  The registries will also be finished tonight, as long as my little person goes to bed on time.  Trucking right along!

NWR:  I'm making it a point to cook a little healthier, especially since FI likes to pretend he doesn't have Celiacs and eats a bunch of junk he shouldn't.  I must also stop trying on my wedding band because one day I'm going to forget to take it off.  I just happen to think my hand looks SO much better with both rings and I'm addicted to staring to it!!
